 My phone is iPhone. Many people use this and I’m a user. Why do many people use iPhone? iPhone has some greater functions than other makers. That’s the key. Especially, App is awesome, and iTunes is amazing. When I bought iPhone in the first time, I was surprised the functions. For example, the fantastic functions are the touch panel and iTunes and iPhone can have many Apps. In addition, the body is so small and design is cool. Therefore, we like it. If iPhone does not have this cool design and simple, iPhone would not be popular in the world. I respect Steve Jobs. His work was wonderful things and our world changed. He will be transmitted by word of mouth forever. Finally, I will use iPhone of Apple because their products are awesome.

My summer plans

 

 

 My summer vacation plan is to go to Minnesota. I'm looking forward to going there. I have three things I want to do there. First, I want to watch a ballgame. It’s Major League. I like MLB. Minnesota has one Major League Baseball team. That team name is Minnesota Twins. Now Twins is not a strong team, but they are not at the bottom. If I go watching their ballgame, I want to buy their uniform. Second, I want to go to a lake. Minnesota is one of the most famous states about having many lakes. I like swimming so I’m looking forward to going. Third, I want to go to Mall of America. Mall of America is the biggest mall in America. Mall of America maybe has many things I want to buy.

My hobbies

 

 

 I have three hobbies. The hobbies are important for me to live with comfort. If I don't have hobbies, my life will be boring. Let me introduce my hobbies from now. First, the hobbies are to playing the bass guitar. Many friends know this. I always play the bass guitar in my house, and I play many songs, listening music. Second, I like watching a movie. If my life is not a movie, I'll die. Third, it is to reading a book. Reading something is good for me, we get wisdom for doing so. Moreover, if you go to a public library, those books are that we can read at no cost. That’s wonderful things.

My Golden Plans

How was your golden week? You enjoyed? I was boring except last day. I just read many books in Kikuyou library. I read 4 books about semantics in Japanese and the books were so interesting because I could know much knowledge for reading. Anyway, Last day’s GW was so exciting because I went to Aso with friend. I got a driver’s license three months ago so the first time was to go to Aso by my car. I didn’t know how to go to Aso. So I used an application of iPhone and that was Google Map. Google Map was so useful so navigator tough me how to go to Aso, driving my car. Aso was so beautiful and I could relax to look beautiful view. The trip was so great for me and friend!!

  My favorite APP is YouTube. YouTube is known many people in the world and many people use this application. YouTube is the most splendid APPs in the world! I always use this. YouTube is very useful because this is a tool that we use when we want to know something. I like this and we love this. Recently I often listen to foreign music with YouTube. Moreover, we are able to watch famous lectures of USA's university. I am so happy because I can learn my favorite major in English. To top it all, we are able to practice listening in English!! We are able improve listening skill!! YouTube is cool, isn’t it!

My other class

 

 

  My other is phycology and German language and advanced wring and so on. Today I took a phycology class and the class was really interesting because the teacher was so funny and his lecture was good for me. Phycology is important for studying oneself and we have to learn myself. My choice was good about taking phycology. And I have to study German language because this class is important for graduating this university. I might be hard schedule in this year because I have many classes and I go to America and Canada for studying English from summer. I take prepared class for going to foreign countries and I have to do formalities right now. I wish I success everything !!

My favorite wallet

 

 

My favorite wallet is Paul Smith's wallet. I have one now. This is Christmas present from my girlfriend. I was surprised to get this present. I have never had expensive thing really. I was impressed when I got as a charisma’s present. This looks like black and shape is vertically long and simple design. I love this because I like black and I think that I want new wallet long time. In return, I gave her great wallet when she was 20 years old. Moreover, the wallet was her favorite maker. I chose that for I wanted her to be happy. The strategy was great success. I want to use forever until breaking point!

This spring vacation

 

 This spring vacation was very busy. I have to go to driving school for getting license. Moreover, I went to KGU library and I read many books. I read various books. For example, the book was “brain and language” and “English linguistics” and “neuro-linguistics” and so on. Everything was very interesting context for me. Anyway, I got driving license 2 weeks ago. So I can go everywhere! However, I have no money. Tentatively I want to go to travel with my K-car. I want to eat delicious foods. For something completely different, I almost finished watching “HEROS” and season one of “LOST” during spring vacation. Recently I started to watch “24”. This is one of the most famous foreign dramas in the world, you know. “24” was interesting and exciting first time. All scenes have a sense of speed. This vacation was some more good time for studying. I need to write tying homework from new semester.

Hi! My name is Tsubasa Matsuoka. I'm from Kumamoto. I was a student of Kumamoto Kita high school. When I was junior high school student, I joined brass band club. The club was so exciting and strong team. I stated a double bass and electric bass then. The double bass is so sweet and cool, also Playing is difficult. But brass band's bass line is very simple and easy. High school times were very exciting. By the way do you like music? I don't know guys who hate music. What kind of music do you like? My favorite movie is "Love Actually".

  This movie is so wonderful and splendid and epic. I remember about all scenes and I often think I want to watch again. Why is this wonderful? Of course, this story is kind of love story but not just love story. This movie gives us much hope and courage. When I watched this movie first, I remember I have cried during last scene. So that is climax. I impressed. I want to talk about " Love Actually" from now.

  Love has various forms. That is like water. Water is able to change solid or mist and so on. Love is same, too. How to love is different from individual to individual, you know. Everyone knows about this and we are fighting. That is like war for looking for a boyfriend or girlfriend. Love has many forms and comes in a variety of types. For example, that is love’ family or a girlfriend. Of course, that is without sex. If you watch this movie, you can learn many love forms.

  The chief character was nothing in this movie. In the words, the chief character was all character. All couple was main theme and one story. This movie was “Ensemble Cast”. If you know this words, please chick Wikipedia. You can get details.

  I cannot choose a couple stories for talking about this movie. Because all stories was wonderful. But I have to choose. Well… two people worked in Cabinet Office. One man is David who is a prime minister in England and one woman is Natalie who is an administrative secretary of David. They loved each other but they cannot say, “ I love you” because they bigotry and shy dullness. I was fret by their action when I watched some scenes. They could carry one’s thought to the other side. However, the circumstance became gradually. If you want to know, please watch. I cannot tell this continues.

  Finally, I got courage thanks to watching this movie. I was happy. This movie is in library so you can watch. This is recommendation!!

My favorite drama is LOST

 

 

My favorite drama is LOST. This is interesting drama because this story is so wonderful and deep. Many characters are in this drama and have some roles. For example, that is a doctor or funny guys. The character is very different but the config is so cool. First character ridded on an airplane for having various purposes. However, the airplane crashed to uninhibited island. 48 people saved for the accident. I was shocked because characters waited until help arrives but nobody came. The character became the people left behind at uninhibited island.  

 

 

  The inhibited island has some mysteries.  A monster is in forest and one kill human. Some people were killed in island of first scene by the monster. That scene was terrible. Characters had to make some housing for living. Many people cooperated for surviving and own. A plangent woman was in characters. Characters have much trouble for surviving.

 

 

  This story was answered per one episode about backward of one character. For example, the character’s name is Jack. He is a doctor and famous doctor in New York. When his father operated a patient, he failed because of getting drunk. Jack knew about his father punishment. Jack announced officially in court so his father has gone. Jack went to Australia for looking for his father. However, he encountered a trouble which was an airplane accident. Thus, we can know about backward of all character if you watch LOST and all backward is the connecting.

 

 

  Finally, this drama is all about mystery. Why are they chosen? I don’t know because this drama is so long and has 6 seasons. I have to watch this so I know all mystery. Moreover, I want to watch with English subtitles after I has finished all season. If you like long drama, this is recommendation.

How I study English

 

I have some studying ways. I am not good at listening to English so I was looking for good methods. I found out good ways. For example, I listen to NHK world news when I am free and come back home. This is food things for studying English. Why did I have complex for listening skill because I sometimes cannot listen to any words when anyone speaks long sentence in English fast. I improve a little that before for this way. On the other hand, I started to watch a movie with English subtitles. For example, I watch one movie twice so first is Japanese but second is English subtitles. If the movie is funny and interesting movie, third is except subtitles. This is very easy and someone can do it. Moreover, I can get the reading skill for reading English subtitles. If you keep this ways, you may improve English skill a little.

Americans is one of the strongest countries in the world. I am interesting in American culture and food. American foods are very funny, you know. That is hamburgers and chickens and meat! America has some funny foods. Also American snacks are very colorful. For example, the color is green and red and blue. Its color is strange if Japanese people see such the foods. Moreover, the snacks are very sugar. I cannot eat them because they are too sweet. America movie is very famous. Especially Hollywood is known by many people. I like American movie. I often watch movie. Watching movies are one method for studying English. Moreover, I can learn various cultures in America by watching movies.

 England is one of the coolest countries in the world. England used to be number-one in the world. For example, the industry territory had a great power!! England controlled many countries and people were exploited by England. However now, England is a great and wonderful country in all territory. Also England has some splendid university as being representative of the entire world. For example, it is Oxford and Cambridge and London university. I want to visit London for sightseeing and studying someday.

Food/eating habits

 

 

  I usually eat rice and miso-soup in the morning and I sometimes drink orange juice. My mother makes these dishes and her dishes are very delicious, However, I cannot eat when I am busy and do not have time. When the case happened, I ate sandwich for buying in store. I eat meat at lunchtime because I love meat! I often go to cafeteria of KGU because lunch prices are very cheap. Moreover, cafeteria lunch has many menus. For example, that is curry and udon and daily-lunch and so on. However, I sometime make LOWSON foods happy so LOWSON has some great foods, too. Dinner is dishes which were made by my mother. Sometimes I buy convenience store dinner when my mother is busy. Recently, my girlfriend sometimes makes a lunch box!! She is hard for me so I am happy to make delicious lunch box!!

Music I like

 

 

 I like music, you know. Especially I like jazz. I love bass. When I was junior high school student, I started to play piano. I used to like classical music but I changed. I used to go to Music hall in Kumamoto for listening to Classical music. However, I do not go there recently. When I was a high school student, I started to play double bass. Then I like Pops and orchestra. Now, I am crazy to Jazz. Jazz is cool and sweet. My favorite bass player is Marcus Miller. He is one of the coolest bassists in the world. He used to join Miles Band as a bassist and composer. I got some awards because his song was so sweet and cool. His performance is very wild and sound is funky!! That is his play-style. I want to go to his concert but he seldom come in japan. Someday I wish to meet him!

Using the computer

 

 Using the computer is very good and useful for us. I can know much information quickly with the computer also we can choose some videos which we want to see with YouTube. I think that this computer times are good times. Moreover we connect with computer. For example, that is like Skype! The computer is one connecting tool for us. It's a wonderful attainment. But, what is bad point of the computer? We seldom think about this .For example, losing out good eye-sight is one bad point if we use the computer, you know. Also, I will get too much information if you search something. We have to think about it so this is an aggravated problem.

First classes and new school year

 My new school year will become exciting so I am going to ho Minnesota with this school program. On the other hand, I will take new classes and a seminar of Mr. Tomei.
