Do you watch “Major League” as a film? I watched this after finishing a class. The movie was the amazing film. From now, I tell you about this interesting story and I want you to watch this movie after you have known this story. Go to the story of “Major League”!

 

Introduction

 

“Major League” is the story of a baseball team. The team is “Indians” and the team name is real but the story is not real. Indians was a weakest team in Major League Baseball. The time they got crowning victory in a season was 35 years ago. Indians was often a bottom of the league a long time. Indians was in an abyss of despair, but Indians carried thorough a reform. For example, Indians has got many rookies and old players who played well, and Indians slowly begin to change for the better….

 

Indians

 

 The official name of Indians is “Cleveland Indians”. Now this stadium is Progressive field. Indians is the central division of MLB’ American League. They are in Ohio. The camp place of Indians in “Major League” was in Arizona. I want to go to Arizona really. Their mascot is Slider. If you are American people, you see the logo of Indians. The team colors are red and navy and white. Especially the red color is cool.

 

 

Characters

 

Jake Taylor・He is a catcher. He used to be famous and good player before he does not hurt his knee.

Ricky Vaughn・He is a pitcher and he used to be a convict in a jail. His straight is 100 miles. He often overthrows.

Roger Dorn・He is a third baseman and often makes errors.

Willie Mays Hayes・He only was a beginner, but he run very fast.  

Pedro Cerrano・He is the bridge master of Indians. However, he cannot hit breaking ball.

 

Story

 

 This story of Indians was weakest in MLB. The members of Indians were new faces or old man, so a lot of fun gave up that they get the crowning victory. The story is just a dream. If you watched their camp, you will say, “This year is the bottom in MLB.” Each and every person had a weak point. Their weak point is the key because all members get over when this film reaches a final phase. This story is too long so I want you to watch these scenes. These scenes are an interesting thing. I am happy to watch this.

Weekend

 

 

  How was your weekend? I could relax very much, and I was excited to go to a hot spring. I went to the house of my girlfriend. Then I ate a pizza which she made for me, and the pizza was so delicious. The pizza was more delicious than a pizza of the bakery. Because the pizza was so nice taste, I ate in a blind effort. After eating, I talked a lot of time and I could relax and enjoyed the time.

 

 

 

  I went to kyokushi for watching firefly with her after talking about 7:00. Kyokushi is one of the most famous towns in Kumamoto because there are a lot of fireflies in Kyokushi. When I went to there, the weather was good, and it’s windy, so I worried about a problem which fireflies come in. Luckily we could watch fireflies!! The fireflies were so beautiful. The day was a memorable day.

 

 

 

  Yesterday, I went to a hot spring after doing English Central. I went with my friend. The open-air bath was good and I could relax. After soaking in the outdoor hot tub, to drinking a milk coffee was a memorable thing.

 

  These two days was so fun!!

Future Tense

 When you were a junior high school or high school student, did you learn future tense by right? Most of Japanese textbooks for studying English were awful about future tense’s description. For example, “will” and “be going to~” is same meaning and we can use same meaning as future tense!! Most of the books are crazy. We are sure to make a mistake about how to use “ future tense”. I used to make a mistake like this. I was tough this meaning by teachers when I was a student before entering KGU.

 Ex She will slap him.

     She is going to slap him.

 Most of Japanese people will say, “ These sentence are same meaning.” However, these sentences are different.

 “Be going to~” means like the progressive form. For example, “she is slapping him.” I think about “be going to~” is future tense ad the progressive form’s image. Japanese learners have to learn like thus image’s word. I am learning now and this is important for learning English. Learning image’ s word is one way for being good at English, I think.

Onigiri

 

 

 

Onigiri is one of the most delicious foods in the world. I think that onigiri is epic!! Japanese people love onigiri. Japanese totally know this. I have never known Japanese people who do not know onigiri. Onigiri is kind of Japanese culture foods! If you go to picnic, you absolutely find out someone who takes some onigiri. Also you go to convinces store, you totally buy various onigiri. Japanese is the nation of “ONIGIRI”! Do you know onigiri’s shape? That is triangle!! Let onigiri think deeply!

Which is best onigiri and where should we buy?? Best onigiri is TUNA!! TAKANA is good! Where? The answer is Seven Eleven, you know. Why is Seven Eleven?? Onigiri’s rice of Seven Eleven is sweet delicious and seaweed of taste is good. How much is this? The onigiri is about 100-120 yen. Is this cheap? I think this is cheap because this is a worthy splurge. If you have 105 yen, you are able to buy and eat onigiri. It’s amazing!     Moreover, if you have 200-300 yen, you get luxury onigiri and more delicious onigiri. You absolutely are happy!

“one” translated N’.

The Passive Voice

 

 

 Japanese is interesting and difficult language, you know. Especially The correct use of honorific language in japan is very difficult. Also Japanese has some words which cannot transfer to English. That is “the passive voice”. English people cannot understand Japanese sentence with their grammar because Japanese and English sentence structure is different!!

 

Ex English pattern    S (subject) V (verb) O (object)

→ S V O  I ate an apple.

   Japanese pattern

→S O V   watashiha/ ringowo/ tabeta

                   (I)           (apple)   (ate)

 
 
 Did you find different? Grammar is different so many people have a tough time of studying. Anyway the passive voice of Japanese language is curious. For example, the word is “rain” This case comes in only verb pattern. The intransitive verb of Japanese language can make the passive voice. I don’t know this reason but this grammar is really curious different. I want to study about this!

Happy New Year!

Hello everyone!! This is first article in this blog. How was your new year's holiday? I'm so busy but because I got a little time for watching movies, I was so fun!! Moreover, I went shopping with my girlfriend. I bought many clothes and spent a lot of money. Also I went to Kato shine with her. She wore kimono and the kimono was very cute. On the other hand, I workd at  my part-time job during winter vacation. It was very busy but was good experience!!
