Syntax in Generative Grammar

Interfaces + Merge = Language  ( Chomsky 2010; 52)

I am reading some books about Syntax in Generative Grammar now. I found out one interesting case.

Ex

×John met the king of England, and I met the one of France.

John met the king from England, and I met the one from France.

NPDPthe

   N’Nking

   PPof England

NPDPthe

   NN’Nking

   PPform England

“one” translated N’.

I have to go to part-time place so I will write about this. See you!
