a phrase which is a abbreviated "Subject" and "Verb"

I found this in Fukuoka of Saizeria. Saizeria is a restaurant that we can eat various foods. Before I entered a rest room, I found this ad. The point I want to make is that this is a phrase which is abbreviated “Subject” and “Verb”. If you read a newspaper of a foreigner, this method often uses. I would like to focus attention on “a phrase which is abbreviated “Subject” and “Verb” today.

First of all, we have to inquire into ellipsis. Why was this abbreviated? Why “Subject” and “Verb” written? Many Japanese people do not understand this because this sentence does not have a consciousness of being understood “Subject” and “Verb”. In this case that was written in English, “Subject” and “Verb” often is abbreviated. Why? The reason is native speakers can understand an abbreviated “Subject” and “Verb” without having to write that. This is a unique pattern, and native speakers often see like thus expression many times so they can understand.

Two points need to be made. What an abbreviated phrase is that?

Sentence
(There is) a diaper changing station inside.
“There is” is an abbreviated phrase, and it’s OK that we don’t use this phrase.

A phrase which is understood “Subject” and “Verb”
Diaper changing station inside

One final point should be made about understood “Subject” and “Verb”, this method is very useful and we can read a sentence easily and smoothly. Moreover, to read a sentence which is understood “Subject” and “Verb” is has an impact. Simple is best, a short sentence has an impact than a long sentence. Impact is very important for ads because many people not look at an ad which has a long sentence. In fact, ads have to have an impact like a short message. This case was a good example for a phrase which is understood “Subject” and “Verb”.
