I am reading some books about Syntax in
Generative Grammar now. I found out one interesting case.
Ex
×John met the king of England, and I met
the one of France.
○John met the king from England, and I met
the one from France.
NP→DP→the
↘N’→N→king
↘PP→of England
NP→DP→the
↘N’→N’→N→king
↘PP→form England
“one” translated N’.
